A free eye screening camp for underprivileged people was held on Charkushabari High school premises in Tarash of Sirajganj on Thursday. The Eye Care Project of Manabik Sahajya Sangstha arranged the eye camp.
The eye camp provided services include free eye care, cataract identification, spectacles distribution and referral service.
Nearly 900 patients were screened, 170 free eye glasses were provided and around 100 cataract patients were identified for surgery.
ECP-MSS is working to prevent avoidable blindness in Bangladesh.
